Means of Accomplishing GSDP Mission

 

·          Cooperation with stakeholders entrusted with drawing up and implementing strategies and sectoral plans, and interacting with them in a manner that ensures true partnership in designing a national strategy that accommodates the major goals of the National Vision on one hand, and mobilizes all efforts in support of national development on the other.

 

·          Prepare and communicate relevant knowledge to aid judicious public-policy decision making.

 

·          Provide advice on strategies and policies to ministries and government agencies; and review sectoral plans for consistency with the national strategy.

 

·          Plan the best use of available national resources.

 

 

·          Support and facilitate improvements in planning capabilities across ministries and agencies.

 

 

·          Monitor developments at home, regionally and internationally, identifying patterns in trends of significance for Qatar’s long-term development.

 

·          Interface with the international development community, drawing on its expertise and experiences for the benefit of Qatar.

 

·          Utilization of  the experiences and multiple expertise in the field of sustainable development
