Purpose

The Economic Development Department undertakes regular monitoring of economic developments in Qatar, the region and globally.

Monitoring activities are used to provide information for decision makers that is intended to contribute to enhanced economic management. Economic and financial stability are paramount if Qatar is to sustain the economic momentum needed to build a prosperous and advanced society that the Vision aspires to.
