The Social Development Department’s annual work plan and its portfolio of projects are synchronised with the Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030). In support of the QNV 2030 and the National Development Strategy, the Social Development Department manages a number of strategic social and human development projects.

Our current priority is focused on the preparation of Qatar’s First National Development Strategy, in coordination with the other GSDP Departments.   The National Development Strategy will provide a medium-term framework of goals and strategies to help Qatar progress towards the realisation of the nation’s longer-term ambitions as set out in the QNV 2030.
